Rogers and SenseNet to deploy AI wildfire detection in 10 Canadian communities

Rogers and SenseNet have announced a partnership to introduce wildfire detection technology to 10 communities across Canada, starting in Alberta and British Columbia, as part of their commitment to enhancing safety for Canadians and first responders.

SenseNet, leveraging its AI-powered technology, will use Rogers’ 5G network to deploy advanced gas sensors, smoke detection cameras, and real-time data analysis for early wildfire alerts, with installations beginning in Sparwood and Willowvale, BC, and several locations in Alberta.
