Robinhood enters retirement space

Retail brokerage Robinhood is introducing Robinhood Retirement, an individual retirement account aimed primarily at workers who don’t have an employer offering a 401(k) plan.

Robinhood will pay a 1% match on contributions customers make to their retirement accounts.

Users can sign up to apply for early access via a waitlist and will receive access on a rolling basis over the following weeks, with full availability in January.
