Roamly shifts focus from pet insurance

In 2022, Roamly made its debut in the pet insurance market, launching a partnership with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, underwritten by Crum & Forster. At the time, it signaled a step beyond Roamly’s core RV insurance focus. “Since Outdoorsy’s inception in 2014, we’ve noticed a glaring disparity in the amount of Outdoorsy guests opting to hit the road with their pets and the percentage of those pets who are covered by insurance.” Fast forward to 2025, and there’s no mention of pet insurance on Roamly’s website. Visitors who head to roamly.com/pet-insurance are now redirected to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance — a pet insurer acquired by Chubb in April 2024.

Meanwhile, Roamly is also collaborating with Zubie to offer a bundled telematics solution aimed at carshare operators. The offering includes Zubie’s hardware to enable real-time GPS tracking, trip history, maintenance alerts, diagnostics, and theft recovery support. The service costs $7.75 per month, with a one-time $55 hardware fee.

Separately, Roamly recently opened a Florida location and added eight employees, bringing its headcount to around 40, according to LinkedIn.

Bottom Line: Roamly (“trusted by 10,000+ adventurers) remains small next to parent company Outdoorsy, which serves ~600,000 users globally.
