Rhino launches Greenlight Rent

Rhino has launched the Greenlight Rent website, weeks after Coverager reported that the company was preparing the new offering.

Greenlight Rent brings together Rhino’s products for renters and property managers, including its security deposit alternative, digital cash deposits, renter guarantees, renters insurance and loss of employment insurance.

For property managers, the platform is designed to collect move-in fees, confirm renters insurance and manage other requirements through a single transaction integrated with their property management system.

Greenlight’s security deposit alternative allows renters to pay a premium instead of providing a traditional cash deposit, with insurance protecting the property owner against damages or unpaid fees. Greenlight acts as a general agent for several insurance carriers, while renters insurance offered through the site is provided through a marketing partnership with Lemonade.
