Renaissance acquires IAN

Renaissance Alliance , a network for independent insurance agencies, has acquired Insurance Services of the West, LLC, which operates as Insurance Agency Network (IAN). Based in Washington, IAN includes more than 70 member agencies representing $400 million in premium.

The deal gives IAN members access to Renaissance’s suite of resources, including broader carrier relationships, placement services, revenue-generating technology platforms, and growth-oriented tools designed to improve efficiency and profitability.

The acquisition marks Renaissance’s fifth network addition since 2023, expanding its presence into 12 new states and strengthening its position as a partner for independent agencies seeking consistent, sustainable growth.
