Qumis partners with NFP
Qumis, a startup offering a platform that can analyze insurance policies and pull relevant information, announced that insurance broker NFP has adopted its technology after piloting it in mid-2024.
Since integrating Qumis across its P&C and claims teams, NFP brokers and claims advisors have simultaneously increased “the volume of valuable policy reviews and their focus on strategic client service.”

Founded in 2023, the Chicago-based startup closed a $2.2 million pre-seed funding round earlier this year.
“NFP differentiates itself through our commitment to technology, data, and innovation. Our strategy is built around harnessing data and technology to deliver better client outcomes. Qumis helps our teams move faster, work smarter, and deliver legal-grade analysis with confidence. It’s exactly the kind of technology we want in our tech stack.” – Mark J. Rieder, Head of Innovation at NFP.
“We’re proud to support NFP’s innovation strategy and provide the AI infrastructure that brokers need to navigate the growing complexity of policy work at scale. Qumis is modernizing how teams work, while powering intelligence-driven decisions that help insurance professionals work faster, operate more efficiently, and maintain legal-grade precision.” – Dan Schuleman, co-founder and CEO of Qumis.
