Prudential plc launches AI lab in Singapore

Prudential plc  has officially launched the Prudential AI Lab in Singapore, aimed at driving the adoption of AI, generative AI, and machine learning across its operations in 24 markets in Asia and Africa. The lab, developed with support from Singapore’s Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), Economic Development Board (EDB), and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), focuses on creating AI-powered solutions to enhance customer experience, improve access to healthcare, and boost operational efficiency.

Highlights:

  • Partnership with Google Cloud: Providing technical support and advanced AI tools.
  • Focus Areas: Predictive analytics, hyper-personalized customer engagement, and real-time agent guidance.
  • Collaboration with Institutes: Partnerships with local universities and polytechnics to train future AI talent.
  • Employee Participation: Over 100 AI use cases submitted by Prudential employees since its soft launch in August 2024.
