The Montreal-based startup, established in 2016 and led by Maxime Villemure, is currently a team of 12 operating in the space of self storage and sharing economy to allow people with extra space to list their garage, spare rooms, basements, driveway, etc. Sharebee claims renters using its platform can find storage and parking up to 60% cheaper than going the conventional routes.

In addition, rentals come with insurance via Intact; covering stored property and liability (up to $250,000).
