Promutuel Insurance launches digital auto insurance certificate

Canadian insurer Promutuel Insurance has launched its digital auto insurance certificate.

Now accepted as valid proof of insurance by Quebec police officers, the digital insurance certificate allows motorists to have, on their mobile device, the certificate proving that they have the compulsory insurance required by law.

The Promutuel Insurance certificate adapts to the main application systems: it is available in Apple’s iOS version as well as on Android. For the Apple version, it will be automatically downloaded into the Wallet app. Also, it allows the automatic updating of information when there is a modification to an already insured vehicle and it is easily shared with any temporary driver in different ways such as text or email.
