Progressive signs largest sponsorship deal in Chicago Sky history

The Chicago Sky and Progressive announced a multi-year partnership that the WNBA team described as the largest deal in franchise history. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Progressive will become the presenting partner of the Chicago Sky Foundation’s reading literacy program, which focuses on expanding access to high-quality reading intervention through specialized literacy training for Chicago Public School educators.

The insurer will also receive prominent branding across the team’s game-day experience, including logo placement inside the free-throw circle and along the baseline.

The partnership extends to the Sky’s digital channels through content and storytelling initiatives, while Progressive will additionally serve as the presenting partner of the team’s new hype group, the Sky Lights.

The agreement adds to Progressive’s growing sports sponsorship portfolio and reflects increasing corporate investment in women’s professional sports.

“The Sky organization is thrilled to announce an agreement with Progressive, whose investment displays a strong commitment to women’s sports. Progressive is making its presence felt in grassroots Chicago communities, and our collaboration will allow us to build on that momentum right in our backyard.” – Sky Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Alex Teodosi.

“Women’s sports are experiencing incredible momentum, and we’re excited to support a league and team that are inspiring fans, elevating female athletes, and creating powerful connections within their communities. We’re thrilled to work alongside Chicago Sky to make meaningful impact both on and off the court.” – Sean Freeman, Progressive Media Business Leader.
