The insurer, which recently announced a pilot program for Lyft drivers in Pennsylvania, has now entered a pilot program with Uber, who will use Progressive Insurance to provide coverage for its ridesharing drivers in Texas. Worth Noting: till now, Uber worked solely with James River Insurance. Bottom Line: more and more incumbents are offering a slice of coverage. Pun intended.
