Praedicat Announces Release of Oortfolio risk-modeling platform

Los Angeles-based casualty analytics startup Praedicat announced the release of Oortfolio, a modern risk-modeling platform for liability insurance targeting insurers and reinsurers. Instead of using historical claims data to understand risk Praedicat’s CEO Robert Reville says Oortfolio creates a “forward-looking liability insurance operation”. Bottom Line: Swiss Re is a big believer, aka the first company to license the platform.
