Porch expands Home Factors with new roof and electrical insights

Porch Group expanded its Home Factors property intelligence platform with new attributes aimed at improving carrier risk models. The update adds data points for electrical panel and sub-panel location, roof life stage, and plumbing material indicators, advancing Porch’s goal of covering 90% of U.S. homes with over 100 property attributes.

Home Factors supplies insurers with detailed structural and condition data to enhance underwriting accuracy and risk selection. The new elements give carriers better insight into home systems—helping identify fire and maintenance risks, evaluate roof longevity, and flag durable or high-risk plumbing materials.
