Play With LEGO Blocks to Build Blockchain
At the 2nd Development Conference of China’s Blockchain Technology and Industry Development Forum held in Guangzhou, the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the “Blockchain-Data format specification”. This is the second blockchain standard issued by the Institute of Standards after the “Blockchain Reference Architecture”. At the same time, in order to promote building the standardization of technology and application of blockchain in China, the Institute of Standards announced that it will promote the independent open source community , and announced the first batch of open source projects.
Annchain, a blockchain system developed by ZhongAn Information Technology Services Limited (“ZhongAn Technology”) has been identified as one of the first three open source projects.
At present, based on Annchain, ZhongAn Technology has landed dozens of blockchain applications such as Gogo Chicken, covering fields ranging from agriculture traceability, import and export food, electronic signature, aviation and so on. Based on this, ZhongAn Technology was elected vice chairman of the Forum.
Annchain, one of the three open source blockchain projects, is a blockchain system developed by ZhongAn Technology according to its own business needs. In order to meet the demand of commercial applications, Annchain is not only achieves efficient and stable requirements, but also joined the regulatory, auditing, archiving and many other indispensable features in the real business applications, with flexible, easy to expand, easy to access，and so on, Based on Annchain, developers can efficiently build their own blockchain applications.
ZhongAn Technology Blockchain Laboratory Director Du Junjun introduced, one of the goals of Annchain open source project is to allow developers to play like Lego, choose their own components needed to build in line with their own blockchain for business needs from a variety of different modules. The first part of the open source is the bottom core engine “Angine” of the Annchain. The intelligent contract execution engine independently developed by ZhongAn Technology will also become open source recently. In the future, Annchain will provide more modular components, all modules will be developed in accordance with the “Blockchain Reference Architecture”, “Blockchain-Data format Specification” and other standards published by Ministry of Industry Standards Institute. The interaction between modules will also be standardized.
Based on the Annchain and Anlink, the members of ZhongAn Technology and its alliances have been landing dozens of applications and solutions one after another, becoming a classic example of the technological ecology of blockchain in China. In the field of insurance, for example, Anlink provides solutions for automatic claims settlement and electronic policy deposit based on smart contracts. In the field of agricultural traceability, blockchain + IoT anti-counterfeiting traceability solution of Anlink provide traceability for blockchain farming program such as Gogo Chicken.
At present, Annchain has become a model of the blockchain standards. Based on this, a number of ZhongAn Technology blockchain engineers were invited to become blockchain system function testing experts in this forum, to provide standardized testing and guidance for the domestic blockchain products. ZhongAn Technology was nominated and elected as Vice chairman of the forum.
