Plaid launches Plaid Portal

Plaid Technologies, the bridge between financial institutions and app developers building financial products that require consumers to share their financial information, is announcing the launch of Plaid Portal.

Plaid Portal, the company’s first consumer-facing product, is a privacy tool for people who have connected their financial accounts to apps and services in the US using Plaid. The tool allows people to view which apps have access to their financial information and control where it is shared.

Once users create an account, they’ll be able to view their financial accounts and the types of data they’re sharing with each app. If people would like to disconnect financial accounts from apps, or delete their data from Plaid’s systems, they can do so with just a few clicks.
