Pints AI raises $5.6 million for auditable AI

Pints AI , a Singapore-based provider of AI systems for regulated financial institutions, raised $5.6 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Tin Men Capital, with SBI Ven Capital serving as co-lead investor. Existing and new investors SEEDS Capital, NTUitive, SUTD Venture Fund, and Tenity also participated.

Founded in 2021, its Autothought platform is used by 12 financial institutions across four countries, generating more than $10 million in collective savings. The company said the technology has been deployed in underwriting, claims processing, onboarding, and credit decisioning workflows.

Autothought is designed to orchestrate AI agents within banks and insurers while maintaining auditability and regulatory oversight. According to Pints AI, the platform connects to an institution’s core systems, routes tasks to different AI models—including proprietary small language models, frontier models, and open-source models—and creates an audit trail for every decision. Outputs deemed uncertain can be escalated for human review.

Pints AI plans to expand its presence across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East as it targets financial institutions looking to move AI initiatives from pilot projects into production environments.
