Ping An to launch online only health insurer

Chinese healthcare services startup Ping An Health Cloud has raised $500 million in a Series A round, to “open the era of internet healthcare 2.0” via its sub-brand Ping An Good Doctor; a mobile platform, for healthcare-related services and products, that allows users to make doctor appointments, purchase medicine, and track how many steps they’ve taken, to name a few features. Bottom Line: a $3 billion valuation, aka, Oscar found its perfect match.
