Pharmacy network platform mClinica raises $6.3M
mClinica announced it has picked up $6.3 million in a series A funding round. The Singapore-based health startup founded in 2012 is on a mission to provide healthcare data in Southeast Asia through an alliance with pharmacy stores. Think: pharmacy stores receive an app to later be tasked with convincing customers to use the app via incentives-slash-loyalty programs. Why? So pharmas can better understand their business, its supply chain, and what kind of meds are prescribed, dispensed and bought. Bottom Line: seeking tons of data in an attempt to sell informative data.
