Pet Circle launches pet insurance offering

Pet Circle, the Australian online pet supplies retailer, has entered the pet insurance space with a new offering.

The coverage, underwritten by Pacific International Insurance, is available for both cats and dogs, and it offers access to licensed vets.

Founded in 2011, Pet Circle was the most visited pet food and supplies website in Australia in April 2023. The company closed a $125 million funding round in 2021 that valued it at over $1 billion.

“Our Pet Circle Vet Squad that work in veterinary clinics told us that many pet insurance policies were not up to scratch, with sub-limits catching out pet parents.
