PEMCO partners with Moen on water leak prevention program

PEMCO partnered with Moen to offer policyholders discounted access to the Moen Flo Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff, a smart leak detection and automatic water shutoff device designed to help prevent water damage.

Through the partnership, PEMCO members can purchase the device at a preferred rate through Moen’s website. Eligible homeowners who install the system may also receive up to $1,000 annually toward covered plumbing repairs under qualifying homeowners policies.

According to Moen, the Flo system monitors household water usage, detects leaks and abnormal flow, sends real-time alerts through a mobile app, and can automatically shut off the water supply to help prevent major losses. Moen cites a third-party study showing homes equipped with Flo experienced 96% fewer water damage claim events.
