Pathpoint now live with more than 15 digital platforms and networks
Pathpoint, the modern wholesaler where insurance agents can get bindable small commercial E&S quotes in just a few minutes, is now live with more than 15 digital platforms and networks. These partnerships connect thousands of agents across the U.S. with fast, efficient quoting capabilities and together drive the mission of making agents’ lives easier so they can better serve their clients.
In recent years, insurtechs have sprung up to help insurance agents bind quotes through a largely automated, self-service experience. Until Pathpoint, however, agents could only take advantage of these tools for placing admitted business. Now agents are able to place small commercial E&S business far more quickly, increasing efficiency by investing less time per bind and ultimately placing more business. This is the natural progression for the course of the industry in making things easier for agents – the core distribution unit of insurance – to do business.
Digital partners can use Pathpoint’s API to offer small commercial non-admitted E&S quotes to their existing user base of agents, enabling them to capture both admitted and non-admitted business with a single point of submission.
“Pathpoint is the only place that offers instant, bindable quotes, access to multiple blue chip E&S markets through a single application, and e-signing for E&S coverage,” said Alex Bargmann, Pathpoint’s CEO. “Our digital partners are able to help their existing client base place more business by integrating with Pathpoint, without handling and servicing E&S businesses themselves.”
Pathpoint’s digital partnerships include Bold Penguin, a technology platform that enhances the human touch in small commercial insurance, and Tarmika, a single-entry efficiency solution designed to streamline the commercial lines quoting process for independent agents.
“Partnering with Pathpoint has allowed users of the Bold Penguin Terminal to better support their customers through seamless, access to non-admitted products and markets that they might not have had in the past,” said Nicole Farley, Vice President of Carrier Operations for Bold Penguin. “It’s fast, simple, and supported by two great companies. We are aligned with Pathpoint’s mission to help save our agency partners (and, in turn, their customers) time and money with a simplified E&S quoting process.”
Pathpoint also works hand-in-hand with networks and aggregators whose missions are in helping agents maximize productivity and grow their businesses, and who want to bring game-changing wholesale differentiation into their offerings. These networks include The Woodlands Financial Group – a nationally-recognized insurance agency with nearly 400 branches across the U.S. – The Agency Collective, and The Affinities Group (TAG), as well as a number of SIAA-member agencies – Agents United, CoVerica Agents Alliance, Pacific Agents Alliance, and South Texas Agents Alliance. Pathpoint is also partnered with other technology-first companies that include Insurica, Layr, and Mylo.
“Pathpoint saves our members loads of time when placing small commercial E&S business, because they are able to streamline their processes and pull in a multitude of carriers in one go,” said Chris Sterlacci, COO of CoVerica Agency Alliance. “We are committed to helping our agents be as productive as possible so they can get coverage to clients sooner, and that means leveraging technologies like Pathpoint to result in a better experience for all parties.”
