Outside acquires Inntopia to expand adventure travel offerings

Outside has acquired Inntopia , a provider of booking, marketing, and business intelligence solutions for adventure travel and hospitality.

Inntopia, is a Spot Insurance partner, and serves over 200 resorts and destinations across North America, Europe, and Australia, enabling direct-to-consumer and multi-vendor bookings for ski resorts, national parks, golf resorts, and other travel hubs.

The acquisition enhances Outside’s ability to integrate adventure travel experiences with its content, technology, and audience of over 100 million registered users. Inntopia’s platform will now have access to Outside’s network of tourism partners and advertising channels, enabling new revenue opportunities through bundled travel packages and data-driven insights. The deal also positions Outside to create an adventure travel retail media network, leveraging consumer data for targeted advertising.

BrightTower advised Inntopia on the transaction. Terms were not disclosed.
