Ouch! raises $364K in seed funding

Malaysia-based insurance platform Ouch! has secured $364,600 in a seed funding round from Vynn Capital and Temokin, along with angel investors.

Founded in 2019, Ouch! is a platform to make insurance more accessible to Malaysians. “It’s a one stop platform to educate users about their risks, purchase and manage digital insurance products and make claims”. Customers can choose from five insurance categories, including medical, life, travel, motor and home. Ouch! also offers an app to manage policies on the go, purchase new policies, pay insurance premiums, and make claims. The company’s insurance partners include AXA, Allianz, and Etiqa. According to the company, getting a quote for their insurance plans can be done within five minutes.
