Think: a Guatemala-based healthtech startup established in 2015 to improve “the inefficient, paper-based processes found in most of the current backend systems of the insurance world.” It’s digitizing the entire claims process by creating integrations with insurance companies and their provider’s network to enable real-time claims processing.
With Osigu….(1) Doctors will soon be able to fill electronic prescriptions that are immediately authorized or rejected by insurers within seconds. (2) Policyholders will have prescriptions available on their mobile device and will be directed to the nearest health providers, who will already have access to the information approved by insurers so that they can provide service on the spot.
