Orange Auto appoints William Raniere as EVP of Claims and General Counsel

Orange Auto Insurance , a non-standard auto insurance managing general agency owned by HPN Holdings, has appointed William Raniere as Executive Vice President of Claims and General Counsel.

Raniere joins Orange from Clearcover , where he served as Deputy General Counsel and Senior Vice President. He previously held senior leadership roles at American Access Casualty Company and United Automobile Insurance Company, overseeing claims, litigation, legal affairs, and compliance.

In his new role, Raniere will lead Orange’s legal operations, claims strategy, regulatory initiatives, carrier compliance, and risk management efforts. The company said his experience will support its plans to expand its technology-driven insurance platform focused on the non-standard auto insurance market.

Orange Auto Insurance operates as a technology-focused insurer and MGA serving non-standard auto insurance customers, while parent company HPN Holdings is pursuing growth through acquisitions and business expansion initiatives.
