Open GI and Etc. Insurance launch travel insurance for UK brokers

Open GI and travel insurance MGA Etc. Insurance launched integrated travel insurance for the UK broker market, delivered through Open GI’s Mobius policy administration system.

Brokers can quote, bind and complete medical screening within a single platform, without leaving their primary systems or sending customers to third-party screening journeys. Products are backed by A-rated capacity.

The panel covers Single Trip and Annual Multi-Trip policies, plus activities, cruise and winter sports cover. Features include unlimited emergency medical expenses, cancellation cover up to £10,000 per person, no upper age limit on Single Trip policies, annual trip durations up to 90 days, and optional Gadget cover up to £3,000.

The product went live at the end of 2025 with Adrian Flux as the launch broker. A broader rollout is planned through 2026.

Etc. Insurance, led by Ian Rogers and Andy Fairchild, is the MGA behind the panel. Adrian Flux’s Gerry Bucke said quote times dropped by more than 15 minutes in some cases.
