OnStar Insurance now available in three states

After launching in Arizona in July, OnStar Insurance is now offering car insurance in Texas and Illinois.

OnStar Insurance is underwritten by OnStar National Insurance Company, a subsidiary of General Motors. Coverage includes “special discounts” for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac owners and optional coverage for EV home chargers, among other things. Coverage is not limited to GM vehicles.

According to its site, OnStar Insurance will be available soon in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
