OnStar Insurance is now General Motors Insurance

In January, GM Financial announced that its OnStar Insurance brand will undergo a transformation to General Motors Insurance beginning January 2024.

The change was delayed by a few months but now OnStar Insurance is officially General Motors Insurance. Below are before and after screenshots.

“Transitioning to GM Insurance establishes stronger alignment with General Motors’ core strategies and operations, allowing us to realize further enterprise-wide synergies,” GM Insurance President and GM Financial EVP Andrew Rose said at the time of the announcement.

Aside from the new look, General Motors Insurance is now available in two new states – Indiana and Ohio. Previously, the company launched in Arizona, Illinois and Texas.
