One Inc. Picks up $15.5M

Cali-based One Inc, a provider of cloud-based software and payments solutions for the insurance industry, has raised $15.5 million in financing, bringing its total funding to date to $52.2 million. Also, it picked up two new backers. One. American Family Ventures (think: investors Ring video doorbell). Two. Centana Growth Partners (think: investors in Vena Solutions – a corporate performance management software). Previous backers AXA Strategic Ventures and MassMutual Ventures, also participated in the round. “As we move into the execution phase of our business, we are excited to have Centana and American Family as part of our team as both firms have deep expertise in growing SaaS based P&C businesses” – One CEO Christopher W. Ewing. Begs the question – what phase is the company currently in? Bottom Line: Mutual of Enumclaw and Greenpath Insurance Company (now Aspire) are/were two clients. Either way – ‘nice company, nice people’ according to one.
