Novatae acquires Specialized Program Solutions

Novatae Risk Group  has acquired the assets of Specialized Program Solutions (SPS), a Chester, New Jersey-based MGA focused on trucking insurance. The transaction closed on August 1, 2026. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2022, SPS provides underwriting, marketing and program administration for long-haul trucking risks across the US. The company uses a proprietary technology platform and data-driven underwriting to manage its portfolio.

Led by CEO Christopher Daggett, SPS adds trucking expertise and technology capabilities to Novatae’s transportation and specialty program offerings.

Novatae is a specialty insurance brokerage, MGA and program manager with 43 US offices serving more than 6,000 clients.
