Novacore to acquire Diesel Insurance Solutions

Novacore has agreed to acquire Diesel Insurance Solutions, a California-based managing general underwriter specializing in cross-border trucking, physical damage, and cargo insurance. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded and led by Jason Wexler, Diesel serves trucking carriers and logistics operators, including those moving freight across the U.S.-Mexico border. Its full team will join Novacore.

The acquisition will add a dedicated cross-border trucking and cargo platform to Novacore’s Specialty Transportation segment. Diesel is expected to expand into additional transportation insurance lines, supported by Novacore’s agent network, technology, and resources.

Novacore offers more than 20 specialty insurance programs and works with over 20,000 agents nationwide.
