New Entrant Bonapart Channels Zero Deposit

Meet Bonapart :

The Paris-based startup has officially launched on June 15 to offer tenants an alternative for security deposits – tenants pay 2% of their monthly rent (or a minimum of €9.99) per month and get to free up their deposit. Because there’s an “extremely high demand for Deposit Free Apartments (3x more applicants).” Vice versa, landlords can sign up for free and enjoy the protection of up to €10,000 in case of damages caused by tenants.

The company is (1) led by Fabrice Le Parc and Jaafar Elalamy, (2) has secured a partnership with MMA Assurances, part of Covéa, and (3) offers an online to offline experience.

On May 16, cofounder and CEO Fabrice Le Parc uploaded a post to LinkedIn titled “How we designed Bonapart to be unique, disruptive, and damn cool”….
