Neos Quoting Platform: Before and After

London-based insurtech-slash-IoT startup Neos announced a new quoting platform. Coverager gave both a try .

According to InsuranceAge, Neos’ new quoting platform uses over 260 external data sources that allow it to shorten the quoting process to 30 seconds. I gave it a try. Twice. And both times received the following message: “We’re Sorry…”. Recall: Neos is in part a digital MGA, and in part a smart home technology player. It providers policyholders with sensors and a smart dashboard to make sure customers’ homes are safe.

Also, it has a partnership in place with Hiscox (think: underwriters), Aviva and Munich Re (think: backers). In fact, just back in May, it announced a £5M series A.
