Nationwide’s Amy Shore to retire in December
After a 27-year career at Nationwide and over 30 years in the P&C industry, Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer Amy Shore will retire at the end of 2024. As Chief Transformation Officer, Shore has helped drive operational excellence and creation of continued value for Nationwide customers – focusing on automating the ordinary and enabling Nationwide employees to deliver the extraordinary.
Previously, Shore served as Nationwide’s Chief Customer Officer, where she helped redefine and elevate customer experience to become a sustained competitive advantage for Nationwide. She also served as President of Nationwide P&C Sales & Distribution and provided leadership in a variety of business areas in the P&C industry including sales, underwriting, product/pricing, customer service and general management.
Throughout her career, Shore has worked to uplift and mentor Nationwide employees and give back to the community. She is a champion of building culture and developing a pipeline of future leaders. Shore has served as executive sponsor for the Nationwide All Women’s Employee Resource Group, national chair of the company’s United Way campaign and has a passion for making affordable, high quality, higher education accessible to all who want it.
