Nationwide names Kush Kotecha head of Annuity business

Nationwide has appointed Kush Kotecha to lead its annuity business, following Craig Hawley’s transition to oversee the company’s broader financial services operations.

Kotecha joins from TIAA Financial Services, where he most recently served as SVP of Product and Innovation, leading product development and growth initiatives. He previously held roles at Prudential Financial, Ohio National, and Ernst & Young, bringing over two decades of experience across actuarial, finance, and strategy.

A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Kotecha holds a degree in math actuarial science from the University of Waterloo and serves on several nonprofit boards in the Cincinnati area.
