Napo raises £12 million

UK-based pet insurance startup Napo has raised £12 million, bringing funding to date to ~$36 million.

The Series B round was led by Mercia Ventures, with participation from existing investors DN Capital, Companion Fund, MTech Capital, Helvetia Venture Fund, and others.

Founded in 2021, the pet insurance startup had £30 million in premiums and 60k covered pets last year. Co-founder and CEO Jean-Philippe Doumeng says that the startup is approaching 100k pets.
