MyCarrier raises $22 million
MyCarrier, a startup offering a freight shipping platform for small and medium-sized shippers, has raised $22 million in a Series B round led by NewRoads Capital, with participation from Greycroft and Lerer Hippeau.
Founded in 2016, MyCarrier is based in Arizona and offers a platform that connects shippers to “less than truckload” and full-truckload carriers. The platform presents shippers with quotes and “integrated cargo insurance” in partnership with Falvey Insurance Group.
MyCarrier expects to process over two million shipments in 2022 and plans to use the funding to expand its services beyond LTL and full-truckload shipments, targeting the multimodal space (air, rail, and ocean).
