Muffintech raises €3.5 million

muffintech, a Berlin-based startup offering a conversational AI solution for insurance companies, has raised €3.5 million from ff Venture Capital, Techstars, and others.

Founded in 2021 by Simon Moser, Tomas Gan, Felix Goepp, and Elli Wolf, the startup claims that its AI was developed by industry experts with deep insurance knowledge and that the AI has been trained on over 30,000 insurance-related conversations.

Muffintech already serves brokers, broker pools, and insurance companies. With its recent funding, the startup plans to scale its AI capabilities and expand its reach in the market.
