Massachusetts-based weather startup Understory, developer of roof sensors and hyper-local data networks, is expanding its platform to the Metropolitan Dallas, Texas area. The platform, which consists of patent-pending sensors networked together to feed ground-truth weather data to the Amazon Web Services cloud, is currently available in Kansas City, Missouri, and Metro Boston.
