Mitchell expands AI estimating to collision repair shops

Mitchell International  is bringing its AI estimating tool to collision repair chains and independent shops in the U.S. and Canada. Intelligent Estimating turns photos of vehicle damage into preliminary repair estimates in minutes, which estimators can then review, edit and submit.

Crash Champions tested the tool and gathered employee feedback before making it available across more than 650 collision centers in 38 states and Washington, D.C.

The product is an add-on to Mitchell Cloud Estimating. Mitchell says it cuts down on manual work, helps estimators produce more consistent estimates and gives experienced appraisers more time for complex cases.
