Millennials; desired not required
Health insurer Oscar and online broker PolicyGenius have at least one thing in common; neither considers their digital offerings to be mainly a millennial play. Oscar cofounder Mario Schlosser says that even though their marketing message may come across that way, his company is more concerned with being ‘quick and easy’ than ‘young and hip’. PolicyGenius cofounder Jennifer Fitzgerald seconds that message saying that “Plenty of people in their 40s and 50s prefer the online channel for financial services.”
