Miles partners with East Japan Railway and MS&AD

CA-based transportation rewards app Miles announced a strategic partnership with East Japan Railway Company and MS&AD . According to the company, the Miles app is the first smartphone-based app in Japan that automatically identifies travel modes and assigns travel points to users.

Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance (part of MS&AD) and East Japan Railway Company will use Miles technology and work with local governments and partner companies to provide users with added value through rewards. These rewards will provide users with convenient services in areas such as shopping and lodging and will contribute to the development of safer and more secure communities.
