Micro Player Jamii Announced its First Funding
Tanzanian micro-health insurance startup Jamii announced it has raised $750K in a Seed round to expand into East and Central Africa. The startup offers a mobile platform to allow insurers such as Jubilee Insurance to target the low-income population by offering coverage starting at a $1 a month.
