Michael S. Cormier joins RiskMatch as chief client engagement officer, focusing on insurance brokers and wholesalers
RiskMatch, a business intelligence and analytics firm that provides insurance portfolio management and placement support services to insurance brokers and insurers, today announced that Michael S. Cormier has joined the firm as chief client engagement officer, focusing on insurance brokerages and wholesalers using the RiskMatch platform.

Mr. Cormier, who has extensive leadership experience in risk consulting, management consulting, insurance and finance, previously was managing director and CEO, Marsh Risk Solutions, where he oversaw the growth of Marsh Risk Consulting (MRC) and Global Captive Solutions practices worldwide.
He joined Marsh in 2004, initially serving in the firm’s Strategy/Corporate Development Group and held positions of increasing responsibility within the firm leading to his appointment in 2007 as CEO for the Global Captive Solutions practice and subsequently of Marsh Risk Solutions. Earlier, he was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 1992 until 2004 where he led mergers and acquisitions transactions, primarily for private equity funds located in the United States and Europe.
A certified public accountant, Mr. Cormier earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Bryant University.
