A spin-off of Social Intelligence, the social media risk assessment tools and data provider, that’s looking to be the one-stop shop for all-things data, all-things insurance. Think: a ‘Home Connect’ dashboard that consolidates data from devices connected to the Internet of Things (IoT), an ‘Application Accuracy Score’ to detect discrepancies in insurance applications, a ‘Lead Qualification Score’ to allow insurers to segment risk, and more. The launch closely follows recent announcements by Aetna and Vitality, which look to tap into new sources of data via their partnership with Apple that entails subsidizing the cost of the Apple Watch in hopes of improving one’s wellness and their bottom line. Bottom Line: a new data and analytics player just entered the insurtech scene.
