MCF expands in Kentucky with Hoff Bujnoch acquisition

Kentucky-based registered investment adviser MCF Advisors acquired Newport, Kentucky-based Hoff Bujnoch & Associates , a wealth management firm overseeing about $250 million in assets.

The deal expands MCF’s presence in Northern Kentucky and adds to its financial planning and wealth management operations. Hoff Bujnoch founder Digger Bujnoch will join MCF as senior financial adviser and partner alongside the rest of his team, which will continue serving existing clients.

MCF said the acquisition gives HBA access to broader investment management, tax and estate planning, retirement planning, and business owner advisory resources.

The transaction marks MCF’s third acquisition since partnering with Wealth Partners Capital Group and HGGC’s Aspire Holdings platform in March 2025.

Founded in 2004, MCF Advisors reported $4.68 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2026.
