MassMutual Ventures Invests in Israeli Cybersecurity Startup

Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup Solebit, announced it has raised $11M in a Series A round, bringing its total funding to date to $13M. The funding round was led by Israel-based threat intelligence company ClearSky Cyber Security, with participation from MassMutual Ventures .

 

 

Founded in 2014, Solebit offers protection against advanced cyber attacks, zero-day threats and malware before they impact organizations. The startup uses evasion-proof, signature-less, patented technology, which instantaneously detects any malicious code entering an organization and blocks it conclusively. On average, Solebit analysis time is between milliseconds up to a few seconds, while Network Sandboxes typically take 5-15 minutes to perform the same analysis. The company is led by Boris Vaynberg, Yossi Sara and Meni Farjon, who served in the IDF as a senior information security specialist, in a unit that’s on a “need-to-know basis.”
