MarketScout is Insurtech-Friendly, Not Mobile-Friendly

According to Reinsurance News, Texas-based specialty MGA, MarketScout, is launching MarketScout InsurTech (MIT). Think: a $25 million investment fund dedicated to insurtechs. Recall: MarketScout, established in 2000 by Richard Kerr, is an insurance distribution and underwriting company that owns and operates the MarketScout Exchange, as well as over 40 other online and traditional underwriting and distribution venues. It founded the Council for Insuring Private Clients (CIPC) conference, and the Entrepreneurial Insurance Alliance (EIA), an “amalgamation of forward-thinking companies supporting innovation in the insurance industry.” Also, it has offices in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington DC. Bottom Line: it is insurtech-friendly yet not mobile-friendly, according to Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test tool.
