MACM selects OneShield for core system modernization

Medical Assurance Company of Mississippi ( MACM ) selected OneShield Market Solutions as its new full-suite core platform as the physician-owned medical malpractice insurer moves from a legacy on premises environment to a cloud-based system.

Founded in 1976 during a medical malpractice insurance crisis in Mississippi, MACM serves nearly 2,500 physicians across the state with malpractice coverage, risk management services, and claims support.

The transition to OneShield Market Solutions will consolidate multiple systems into a single platform spanning underwriting, claims, healthcare safety, and member applications.
