Lyanne raises €1.2 million
Lyanne, the Paris-based startup helping consumers understand their insurance and file claims, has raised €1.2 million from Firstminute Capital alongside 50Partners and several angel investors.
Founded in 2020, Lyanne offers both a free and premium service. The free service features a claim management tool where people can answer a series of questions about their claim and Lyanne will tell them what steps they need to take for filing a claim. The startup also offers a free product that allows people to aggregate their insurance policies together to understand any coverage gaps.
The premium service includes Lyanne handling the claim – from gathering paperwork to filing the claim. For this, the startup charges a 15% commission from the claim amount that is paid to the customer.
The company has recovered €100k in compensation so far.
Bottom Line: A customer centric service.
